Mexisoul

ayahuasca retreats

A guided retreat experience designed to support deep personal reflection, connection, and integration.

An experience beyond a plant medicine retreat

MexiSoul Retreats is more than a place, a story, a shaman, or even plant medicine.

It’s about you.

We believe you are whole, just as you are. There’s nothing to fix and no one to become, only a return to an inner truth.

From a secluded sanctuary in the Mexican countryside, we create a safe, nurturing space to support deep transformation through plant medicine, experienced guidance, and professional integration.

What makes MexiSoul Unique?

Meet the staff

Humberto Alcalá

Shaman

Humberto is a shaman and facilitator of sacred medicines, but first and foremost a servant of humanity. He combines Shipibo tradition with contemporary wisdom to guide all of our sacred medicine ceremonies in the retreat. Humberto’s unique background, combined with his traditional shamanic training, allows him to serve as a bridge between the western psychology of most participants and the native South American medicines and cosmology.

Frequently asked questions

1. Where are the retreats located?

MexiSoul retreats take place at a peaceful countryside sanctuary in Guadalajara, Mexico surrounded by nature. Transportation from the airport is arranged so guests can arrive comfortably and safely.

2. Is the retreat safe?

Safety is one of the most important aspects of our retreats. Guests go through a screening process before attending, and the experience is supported by experienced facilitators and a structured schedule.

3. What happens during a retreat?

Retreats combine ceremonies, integration meetings, nature activities, and time for reflection. The schedule is designed to allow space for both deep experiences and rest.

4. How many people attend each retreat?

We keep our retreats intentionally small so every guest receives personal attention and support throughout the experience. A normal retreat week will have from 12 to 15 participants.

5. What is integration?

Integration refers to the process of reflecting on and incorporating insights from the experience into daily life. Group discussions and guidance are part of the retreat to support this process.

6. How do I know if the retreat is right for me?

Before attending, we schedule a discovery call with every guest. This conversation helps us answer your questions, understand your intentions, and ensure the retreat is a good fit.

7. What is included in the retreat?

Your stay includes accommodation, meals prepared according to dietary needs, ceremonies, group integration sessions, and guided activities during the retreat.
